1. Who we are
Clarity by Telofin™ is a financial planning and budgeting tool operated by Telofin™. Our website is telofin.com. You can reach us at hello@telofin.com.
2. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Clarity by Telofin™ — including the web app at app.telofin.com or telofin.com/app — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
3. Description of service
Clarity by Telofin™ is a budgeting, financial tracking, and planning tool designed for nonprofits, small businesses, and personal finance. The app allows you to track income, expenses, grants, donors, invoices, and budgets.
The service is currently in beta. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time. We will do our best to notify users of significant changes.
4. Your account
You may use the app without an account. If you choose to sign in, you are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use at hello@telofin.com
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Your data
You own your data. We do not claim any ownership over the financial information, notes, or other content you enter into the app.
By signing in and syncing your data, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not use your financial data for advertising or sell it to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. Clarity by Telofin™ is a planning and tracking tool — it does not provide tax, legal, or certified financial advice.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
- Use the app to store or transmit malicious code
- Resell or sublicense access to the app without our written permission
7. Pricing and beta period
Clarity by Telofin™ is currently free to use during beta. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future. We will provide reasonable notice before requiring payment for features that are currently free.
Users who join the waitlist for Pro pricing will be notified before any pricing changes take effect and may be eligible for founding customer rates.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Clarity by Telofin™ is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
The app is a planning and budgeting tool. It is not a substitute for professional financial, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Telofin™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or financial losses.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim (which during the free beta period is $0).
10. Age requirement
Clarity by Telofin™ is intended for users 18 years of age and older. By using the app you confirm you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, please do not use the app.
11. Intellectual property
Clarity by Telofin™, the Telofin™ name, logo, and all related branding are the property of Telofin™. You may not use our name, logo, or branding without our written permission.
The app software, design, and content (excluding your data) are owned by Telofin™ and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
12. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. You can request deletion of your account and data by emailing hello@telofin.com.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the app for any user who violates these terms, with or without notice.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For significant changes, we will notify signed-in users by email.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
